The Shripur Instrument

A light that closes the loop.

It reads brain, heart and breath and shapes a field of light to you while it is happening. As you settle it steps aside, so the depth is yours; if you need it, it returns. A certified guide holds every session.

Anatomy

Reads. Responds. Steps aside.

Taken apart

The listening core is built and working. The light head is in development: two layers of light mixed in a cavity into one even field, driven by the loop, on its own battery.

  1. The face: a diffuser, one even field, no point of light.
  2. The cavity: light mixed off a white coating until even.
  3. The moving layer: white light that carries the rhythm.
  4. The warm ground: steady warm white and deep red, never flickered.
  5. Driver and timing: the loop runs here, as plain code.
  6. The battery: its own power, never the wall.

Sensing

24-bit, eight channels, 250 samples a second: research-grade, on open hardware.

Field

Warm white and deep red, held steady, under a white layer that carries the rhythm: one even face.

Loop

Reads, shapes, steps aside. Plain auditable code on the device. No AI in the loop.

Power

Battery only, never the wall.

Status

Patent pending, IN 202611124329. Independent optical-safety testing before release.

BRAINHEARTBREATH

A light that reads you

You lie back with your eyes closed beneath a soft, even field of light. Behind your eyelids many people see colour, and some see geometry. The Instrument reads your breath, heart and brain and shapes the light to you, moment by moment; as you settle, it is built to step aside, so the depth is yours and not the lamp’s.

It works inside the Shripur Method, alongside the journeys, the yantras and a guide who is with you throughout.

Concept film: the camera glides slowly around the head of the Instrument, a thin bronze rim around an even, glowing face, and back

What it is

In plain terms. The final form will differ from the renders; what it does will not. How it is built.

A field of light

A soft, even field about half a metre across, held about an arm’s length above your face. It is a diffuser, not a lamp: no point of light, no pattern, no screen. Behind a closed lid many people see colour, and some the same shifting geometry the traditions drew.

A listening core

A few small sensors, placed by your guide, rest on the scalp, with one for the heart and a clip at the ear. They only listen. Nothing is sent into the body; the only thing the Instrument gives is light.

The guide’s view

A small, private screen for the guide, in words and simple shapes. It shows how a session is going, never a score.

Its own power

It runs on a battery for the length of a session, never from the wall.

Limits built in

Brightness and rhythm have fixed ceilings in the design, beneath every setting.

Made in India

Designed and made in India by YoddhaLabs. Patent pending, Indian application no. 202611124329.

What it will never do

Show you a score

Depth is never turned into a number to chase.

Run in untrained hands

The Instrument informs; a certified person decides. It is never used without one.

Play a programme at you

It reads you and shapes itself to you. If you need the light, it returns; if you do not, it steps aside.

For certified guides and houses

The Instrument will be released to certified Shripur guides and partner houses, and never for untrained use. The guide sees a calm, private view of how a session is unfolding, so their attention can stay with the person, not the machine.

For certified guides

In the room

Concept image

What a session needs, and what it leaves behind.

A quiet room that can be made dark, and a daybed or mat.

A certified guide, present from the first minute to the last.

Time before each session for the guide to place the sensors, and a few minutes after to remove them. The sensors are cleaned between guests.

Nothing installed, nothing wired into the room, no internet needed during a session.

What the sensors record stays with Shripur, on servers in India, and reaches you through your guide, in words.

Care around every session

Light over closed eyes is not for everyone, so care is built into how the Instrument is made and how it is used. It will be independently tested for optical safety before release.

Every guest is screened privately by their guide before a first session.

First sessions are short and closely watched.

A stop control stays within your reach, and your guide can end the session at any moment.

Shripur is not suitable if you are under 18 or pregnant. It is not suitable if you have epilepsy, seizures or sensitivity to flickering light, or if a parent, sibling or child does. It is not suitable with bipolar disorder or a history of psychosis, in you or in a parent, sibling or child. It is also not suitable with a dissociative condition, a recent trauma, a recent head injury, a pacemaker or other implanted device, or medication that acts on the brain (other than antidepressants), after recent alcohol or recreational drugs, or after less than four hours of sleep in the last day. If you are unsure about any of these, tell your guide: unsure counts as yes. Safety and suitability, in full.
